Will the opening of Hormuz reduce the logistics industry’s woes?

US President Donald Trump's announcement of a peace deal with Iran could ease shipping disruptions in the Gulf region. Shorter voyages may improve vessel utilisation, increase capacity & accelerate inventory movement for energy & petrochemical. However, vessel repositioning & port normalisation may take weeks, while container cargo flow are expected to recover more gradually than energy shipments.
