Didn't join police force to die: Sambhal DSP on violence over mosque survey

While speaking on violence that broke out in UP's Sambhal during protest against a court-mandated survey of a mosque, Sambhal DSP Anuj Kumar Chaudhary said, "Will these illiterates kill educated people like us...We didn't join the police force to die." He also said police officials have the right to defend themselves. "A police officer also has a family," Chaudhary added.
