Gene Wilder, known for portraying the role of 'Willy Wonka' in the 1971 film 'Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory' passed away aged 83 on Sunday due to complications from Alzheimer's disease. Some of his other films include the 1974 'Young Frankenstein' and the 1980 'Stir Crazy'. Wilder also received an Academy Award nomination for the 1967 film 'The Producers'.
