Windows 11, Microsoft's first OS in 6 yrs, to launch on October 5

Microsoft announced on Tuesday that the free upgrade to Windows 11, its first operating system in almost six years after launching Windows 10, will start to become available on October 5, 2021. Windows 11 will feature a new design with rounded corners and app icons displayed in the centre of the taskbar, along with redesigned Start menu and Microsoft Store.
