Historian Sonia Purnell, author of "First Lady: the Life and Wars of Clementine Churchill", has said that former UK PM Winston Churchill was not gay. Purnell said while there was speculation about his sexuality during his lifetime, Churchill was genuinely in love with his wife. When young, Churchill used to rate women out of 1,000 at parties, Purnell added.
