Wipro shares rise 2% after bagging $1 billion Olam Group deal

Shares of Wipro surged as much as 2.41% on Monday after the firm bagged a long-term strategic deal with Singapore's Olam Group. The eight-year agreement is projected to exceed $1 billion in total contract value. As part of the engagement, Wipro will reportedly acquire Mindsprint, the IT and digital services business of the food and agri-business major.
