With 144 crore people, India has more population than China

According to a recent report by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), India's population has surged to 1.44 billion, surpassing China's 1.425 billion. Titled "Interwoven Lives, Threads of Hope: Ending Inequalities in Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights," the report forecasts India's population to double in 77 years.
