With 65 days to go, Iran awaits FIFA's response on WC venue change

The Iranian government will decide on the national team's participation in the FIFA World Cup 2026 only after receiving a response from FIFA on the relocation of its matches, Sports Minister Ahmad Donyamali said. Iran has been pushing to move the team's matches from the US to Mexico amid the Middle East war. The tournament will begin on June 11.
