With no stubble fires, 2 Samrala villages set example

Ghulal and Bamb villages in Samrala have set an example of the path forward in environment-responsible farming as they were recognised for recording no stubble burning this sowing season. The achievement has been attributed to joint efforts made by the district administration, the police, Agriculture Department, Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Foundation and the village panchayats.
