US envoys hold ‘substantive’ talks with Ukrainian officials in first visit to Kyiv

US envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner visited Kyiv for the first time since Russia-Ukraine conflict began and held three rounds of talks with Ukrainian officials. Both sides called discussions "substantive." Witkoff and Kushner met Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow on September 5. During US envoys' visit, Russia and Ukraine enacted a 72-hour temporary ceasefire.
