Woman and her son spend 12 hours on tree amid floods in Assam

A woman and her young son spent nearly 12 hours on a mango tree in flood-hit Assam. "From 8 pm until around 8 am...next morning, we remained on the tree...My son's life is more precious to me than my own," the woman said. "At one point, my son even said we could survive by eating the tree's leaves," she added.
