A homemade bomb carried by a woman killed three people and injured at least 21 in an explosion at an upscale restaurant in Russia's Moscow, the authorities said. Russia's Anti-Terrorism Committee said a security guard had stopped the woman from entering the restaurant, following which the bomb went off and killed her, the security guard and a customer.
