Woman can't pursue criminal case against ex-husband after accepting divorce deal: HC

Rajasthan High Court quashed criminal proceedings against a man and his parents, ruling that complainant (ex-wife) is abusing the process of law by continuing to pursue the case despite a divorce settlement. She also received ₹20 lakh alimony. The court ruled that there is no doubt that this was a compromise/settlement for divorce as well as for quashing criminal proceedings.
