Woman constable, who has 43,000 Insta followers, caught with heroin in Punjab; dismissed

A senior woman constable, Amandeep Kaur, was dismissed by the Punjab Police after she was caught with 17.71 grams of heroin. The constable has nearly 43,000 followers on Instagram and uploads videos in police uniform, violating an order of the Punjab Police. Police seized her Mahindra Thar SUV and charged her under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.
