Woman cries, fights with officials to stop felling of 4,000 trees for road expansion in U'khand

A viral video shows a female activist crying while protesting against felling of 4,000 trees at 'Saat Mod' area for the expansion of Bhaniyawala-Jolly Grant-Rishikesh Four/Six-lane project. She was heard saying, "We don't need bigger roads...We don't need development." In another video, she was seen fighting with forest officials. People have launched a Chipko Movement against tree felling.
