Woman dies, 16 injured after AC explosion triggers fire at Dehradun hospital

A 66-year-old woman was killed and 16 others were injured after an explosion in an air-conditioning unit triggered a fire at Panacea Hospital in Uttarakhand's Dehradun on Wednesday. The officials stated that preliminary findings suggested a short circuit as the cause. An official said the woman, who was killed, was on ventilator support. Three police personnel are among those injured.
