Woman doctor's neck bone was broken, she was strangled & smothered to death: Police

The 31-year-old woman doctor who was raped and murdered at Kolkata's RG Kar Medical Hospital had multiple injuries suggesting a violent assault, an initial autopsy report said. "Her neck bone was found broken. It seems that she was first strangulated and then smothered to death," said a police officer to PTI. Victim was resting when she was assaulted.
