Woman elopes with would-be son-in-law 10 days before her daughter's wedding in UP

A woman eloped with the man her daughter was supposed to get married to in UP's Aligarh. The woman ran off on April 6 while the wedding was scheduled for April 16. She took ₹3.5 lakh cash and jewellery worth ₹5 lakh. "That man wouldn't speak to my daughter but would keep talking to my wife," the woman's husband said.
