Woman fired for 'poor performance' wins ₹20 lakh after employer fails to prove claims
A Singapore-based woman who was fired during her probationary period for alleged poor performance has been awarded S$30,000 (over ₹20 lakh) by Employment Claims Tribunal. She denied the company's claims that her "performance was poor", arguing she had never received any verbal/written warning about her work. The tribunal ruled in her favour, finding the employer failed to prove its claims.
