Woman fired over husband's job in rival firm wins ₹95 lakh compensation in China

A Chinese court ordered a company to pay an employee 690,000 yuan (over ₹95 lakh) for illegally firing her because her husband worked for a rival firm, SCMP reported. The court found no evidence that the husband had taken advantage of her position. It also said it is common for couples to work at different companies in the same industry.
