Woman injured in celebratory firing in Delhi, accused son absconding

A 54-year-old woman sustained bullet injuries during a celebratory firing at a wedding function at Matangi Bhawan in Delhi's Chhattarpur mandir on Thursday. The accused, who is absconding, is the woman's son, police confirmed. The injured woman was unconscious and unresponsive when the police reached the hospital to take her statement, a doctor said.
