Woman killed in front of daughter for rejecting marriage proposal

A 45-year-old married woman was allegedly stabbed to death in front of her daughter by a man whose marriage proposal she had rejected, said the police on Thursday. The man, 18 years her junior, had started stalking her after she quit her job at the shoe factory where they both worked. A case was registered and the accused was arrested.
