Woman running fake taxi app racket arrested, had cheated people of ₹250 cr

A woman was arrested from a Goa resort by the Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of the Delhi Police for allegedly running a fake cab app racket. She allegedly cheated around 1,000 people of ₹250 crore on the pretext of making them investors in her project. Daisey Menon was behind the 'Hello Taxi' project which never took off, according to police.
