Woman runs marathon barefoot to fund daughters' education in Maha, wins it

Running barefoot in a saree, 47-year-old Ramabai Ranveer won a marathon in Maharashtra's Beed district. Ramabai, who works as a cook and only had a pair of slippers, said her motivation to fund her daughters' education propelled her. Her daughter Pooja also took part in the race, which carried a first prize of ₹3,000, and finished second.
