Woman's 4-yr-long jail term for stabbing husband to death replaced with ₹500 fine by HC

The Telangana High Court has reduced a woman's four-year-long jail sentence which she got for stabbing her husband to death. She has now been fined ₹500, reports said. The HC noted that the crime wasn't premeditated, and the deceased allegedly turned up naked and abused the woman's family. Her lawyers said that she suddenly attacked the deceased during an argument.
