A woman was criticised by Kannada celebrities after she said Bengaluru will lose its glamour and become empty if Kannada people's wish for north Indians to leave comes true. "If we all truly leave...you'll stop earning money [from PGs]...clubs will be vacant," she said. Actress Chaithra Achar said, "Leave, just as an experiment," while composer Chandan Shetty said, "Please leave."
