A woman shared a post and alleged that she was sexually assaulted and beaten by her landlord's brother in Bengaluru. "He had been troubling me for a long time, trying to get overly friendly despite my clear disinterest," she wrote. "Accused's dad is a retired police officer and he has been using his influence. I've received death threats," she said.
