Woman spots whale in ocean while flying in plane in US, pics go viral

A Twitter user named Jasmine Childress from the US has shared a picture of a whale she spotted while flying over Santa Barbara Channel. She's a PhD scholar at the Department of Ecology, Evolution and Marine Biology at University of California. "I was in a puddle jumper much lower than commercial flights...pretty sure it's a grey whale," she wrote.
