Woman tonsured, paraded in Odisha for allegedly cheating locals

A 40-year-old woman was allegedly tonsured and paraded on a street with her face blackened in Odisha by a group of locals, mostly women, for allegedly cheating them by promising to get their loans sanctioned by a bank. The victim has lodged a complaint in the matter and claimed the mob forcibly took ₹25,000 and some ornaments from her.
