Amid controversy over Shiv Sena corporator Ramesh Mhatre beating medical staff, including a female doctor, the woman whose pregnant daughter was hospitalised there defended Mhatre. She claimed the doctors refused to deliver the child and referred the patient to Sion Hospital. "We didn't know what to do, so we called Dada...The case filed against Dada is completely false," she claimed.
