Woman wins ₹13 crore settlement after leg amputated following pedicure at US salon

A US woman has agreed to a $1.75 million (₹13 crore) settlement with a nail salon after her leg was amputated due to an infection following a pedicure. In September 2018, an employee at the salon in Tampa cut Clara Shellman's foot while giving her a pedicure and the cut became infected. Shellman claimed salon used dirty tools.
