Women and older adults show higher covid vaccine hesitancy: Study
A study, published in The Lancet, of over 1.1 million people in England found higher Covid-19 vaccine hesitancy among women, older adults, and those with lower education or living in deprived areas. Concerns about effectiveness, side effects, long-term health, and fertility influenced decisions. Hesitancy declined over time as more safety data emerged, highlighting need for targeted communication.
