Women-led startup builds early pregnancy detection tool for livestock

Komal Kalantry has developed a technology to detect early pregnancy in livestock through her Gujarat-based startup Big Nano Ventures. The agri-tech startup aims to make pregnancy detection more convenient for rural farmers and support better animal care. The kit can detect pregnancy in animals within 28 to 35 days, with the test taking less than 10 minutes.
