Women mechanics develop e-cycle 'Yantrika' in Indore

Five women mechanics linked to an Indore-based voluntary organisation have developed an electric cycle named 'Yantrika'. The women received technical support and guidance from IIT Bombay, which has also ordered 10 e-cycles for use on the institute's campus. The cycle is aimed at facilitating daily commutes for women and labourers and providing affordable transportation, one of the women said.
