Women's reservation won't have to wait for long: Law Minister

Union Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal said the women's quota law providing 33% reservation for women in the Parliament "won't have to wait for long." He indicated the legislation could be implemented before the 2029 Lok Sabha elections. Lok Sabha earlier failed to clear the amendment to fast track Women's Reservation Bill that reserved 33% seats for women.
