Women see 145% salary hike after moving into AI roles: Report

Women transitioning into AI-enabled careers in India are seeing an average salary increase of 145%, learning platform Scaler's India AI Workforce Report 2026 stated. The report found women are driving AI adoption beyond engineering into HR, academia, marketing and other business roles. Female QA engineers reported the highest gains, with salaries rising by as much as 574% after AI upskilling.
