As per a global survey by Berlin-based female health company Clue, women use around 5,000 euphemisms to talk about menstruation. Further, the survey added that while Puerto Ricans were most comfortable talking to male counterparts about periods, females in Saudi Arabia were least comfortable. Almost 40% of participants in India said that they were not informed enough about menstruation.
