Women voters outnumber men in Assam, Kerala and Puducherry: ECI

Female turnout exceeded male participation in Assam, Kerala and Puducherry, which went to polls on April 9, as per Election Commission of India (ECI) data. In Puducherry, female turnout stood at 91.40% compared to 88.13% among men while Assam recorded a female turnout of 86.50% compared to 85.33% for men. Kerala saw 81.19% female turnout compared to 75.19% for men.
