Reacting to BJP’s victory in the West Bengal Assembly elections, Bangladesh’s State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shama Obaed Islam said, "The election is taking place in India; it's India's internal matter, about India's democracy." "No matter which government is in another country, it does not change our foreign policy," Shama added. "I hope India will open tourist visas," she stated.
