Won't compare eras: Gavaskar on choosing between Sachin & Kohli

Ex-India captain Sunil Gavaskar stated he would never compare eras when he was asked to pick between Virat Kohli and Sachin Tendulkar. "Playing conditions, pitches, opposition are different. [So it is] very difficult to compare," Gavaskar said. He further said that nobody compares players like Ricky Ponting and Greg Chappell, emphasising that such comparisons happen only in Indian subcontinent.
