Won't entertain, sorry: SC on plea against ex-judge Yashwant Varma

Supreme Court dismissed petition seeking an FIR and a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to probe against ex-Allahabad High Court judge Justice Yashwant Varma in "cash-at-home" scandal. "This is cheap publicity...We're not going to entertain it...Sorry," the court said. Justice Varma resigned in April amid impeachment proceedings after allegations of burnt cash being found at his Delhi residence.
