Won't impose any religious dress code on women: Syrian rebels
Rebels in Syria, who ousted ex-President Bashar al-Assad, said they wouldn't impose any religious dress code on women and interfere with their clothing. They also vowed to uphold personal freedoms for all. The rebels' General Command said respect for individuals' rights is basis for building civilised nation. Notably, rebel leader Abu Mohammed al-Jolani depicted himself as a champion of pluralism.
