Won't cow into silence: Philippines as it vows action on China attacks

Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr on Thursday vowed countermeasures against "illegal, coercive, aggressive, and dangerous attacks" by Chinese coastguard. "We seek no conflict with any nation..but we'll not be cowed into silence...or subservience," Marcos said. His comments came amid altercations between the two nations in the South China Sea that wounded Filipino troops and damaged vessels.
