Working for speedy release of 16 Indian vessel crew held in Nigeria: EAM

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said that India is working to ensure the speedy release of 16 Indian crew vessel members detained in Nigeria since August. Jaishankar added that India is coordinating with Nigeria to complete the legal formalities. The 26-member crew of the Norwegian-flagged ship MT Heroic Idun was detained by the Equatorial Guinean Navy in international waters.
