Workplaces are moving towards distributed AI model: AMD executive

Vinay Sinha, MD of India Sales at AMD, described emerging AI-powered PCs as a strategic investment, driving workplaces to adopt a distributed AI model spanning the cloud and data centres. He added AMD-powered AI PCs integrate NPUs with CPUs and GPUs for efficient on-device processing. These systems can deliver up to five times efficiency, reducing task time by nearly 81%.
