World chess champion Gukesh D has climbed back above the 2700 rating mark, hours after slipping below it in the live classical ratings for the first time in four years. This comes after he defeated Italian Grandmaster Sabino Brunello at the FIDE Chess Olympiad 2026 on Friday. Gukesh currently has a live rating of 2702.3.
