World less peaceful now than any time in past decade: Study

The world has become less peaceful today than at any time in the last decade, according to the Global Peace Index (GPI). Global peacefulness declined by 0.27% in 2017, with peacefulness declining in 92 out of 163 countries. GPI analysed safety and security in society, extent of ongoing domestic and international conflict among other factors to assess global peace.
