World no. 2 Zverev reaches his fourth Grand Slam semi-final of 2026

World number two Alexander Zverev defeated the Netherlands' Botic van de Zandschulp in the US Open 2026 men's singles quarter-final. The German registered a 6-2, 7-5, 6-1 victory to reach his fourth Grand Slam semi-final of 2026. With 23 Grand Slam match wins this year, Zverev surpassed Boris Becker's German men's record of 22, set in 1989.
