World no. 2 Zverev reaches his third Grand Slam final in a row

World number two Alexander Zverev defeated Russia's Karen Khachanov in the US Open 2026 men's singles semi-final to reach his third consecutive Grand Slam final. The German registered a 6-3, 7-6(7), 7-6(6) win over Khachanov, who is ranked 50th in the world. Zverev had won Roland-Garros 2026 before losing to world number one Jannik Sinner in the Wimbledon 2026 final.
