World no. 2 Simona Halep tests positive for COVID-19

World number two women's singles player Simona Halep on Saturday announced that she has tested positive for coronavirus. "I wanted to let you know that I tested positive for COVID-19. I am self-isolating at home and am recovering well from mild symptoms," she tweeted. The 29-year-old won the Wimbledon in 2019 and the French Open in 2018.
